ANTIQUE RECLAIMED BROWN BOARD

Reclaimed Antique Brown Board is a great option for adding rustic warmth to any space or project.  Brown board is barn wood that has been reclaimed from the interior of a barn or building.  In most cases, brown board has not been painted and has a beautiful honey brown antique patina.  Brown board will also show saw marks and nail holes giving all your projects a rustic feeling that it is steeped in history.  Brown barn boards can be used for paneling, trim, shelving, furniture, flooring, etc.  The possibilities are endless.

Most of our brown board is pine, but can also be other species, including oak.  Pine is generally a softer wood.  However, due to its age, reclaimed barn wood has hardened and dried significantly over time.

Our reclaimed antique brown board generally comes random width, approximately 6-12” wide, random length, approximately 4-14’ long and varies in thickness from 5/8”-1 ¼”.

As with the nature of all reclaimed wood, brown board will show knots, knot cracks, nail holes, and brown board in general, comes dirty (sand, dirt, hay, manure, etc.).

As with most of our reclaimed lumber, we recommend ordering 15-20% extra for waste due to the nature of reclaimed material.
